Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were in poor condition, with issues like a hanging heater and faulty plumbing, but the balcony view was stunning. The lack of functioning lifts upon my arrival was inconvenient, and the temperature inside was uncomfortably warm for our needs.
My stay at Hôtel Alpina was a mix of highs and lows. The rooms offered a gorgeous view of Le Brevent, were spacious but a bit too warm for my liking. Despite that, they were roomy compared to other places I've stayed in the area. It was a pleasant experience overall to spend a night at Hôtel Alpina.
Returning from a skiing session, we had to wait until 3 pm for our room, which was clean and recently refurbished with a very big comfy bed and a nice balcony offering great views. The service was exceptional, recognizing issues promptly and even offering discounted overpriced wine. The location in the heart of the town was perfect for exploring, and the facilities were top-notch.
The hotel had a quiet and fantastic mountain view from the room on the 5th floor but lacked a shared lounge area. The service was a mix of being accommodating and responsive, but also lacking in providing a great experience. The location was superb, very central, and surrounded by necessary amenities. The dining options were excellent with a variety of choices. The facilities were well-maintained with a few shortcomings.
The hotel has spacious and well-designed rooms with a walk-in robe area, making it convenient to separate clean and dirty items. While the room size is a bit small, the overall experience was awesome. The service, though friendly, was limited by language barriers and occasional inefficiency. The location is excellent, offering a quiet setting close to downtown activities. The dining, although showcasing a nice view, was impeded by young staff's lack of organization. Despite some drawbacks, the hotel boasts a beautiful setting for dining at an extra cost.
The hotel has good-sized rooms at the back, making it a bit difficult to sleep through the night on three different occasions at three different rates. The service is decent, slightly lacking enthusiasm at the restaurant and front desk, though staff are helpful and accommodating, especially with a Greek ski room available for 2 adults and 2 children. The location is spacious for a family of 2 adults and 2 children, conveniently situated just off a main shopping and entertainment street, but noise from nearby events might disrupt sleep quality. The dining options are good, offering stunning views from the top floor; however, a more varied menu would enhance the experience. Overall, the hotel offers a mix of positive and negative aspects worth considering before booking.
I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! The rooms, although a bit small, were truly unique and interesting. Ours on the first floor had a little balcony with stunning views of the Aiguilles range. However, I wasn't prepared for the lack of preparation for the third person in the room, especially with the radiators turned off, but that didn't outweigh the charm of the room overall.
The hotel's location is excellent, near great après-ski bars but peaceful at night. However, the rooms were too small for a ski holiday, with a stained couch. The service lacked help with late arrivals and bedding requests.
The hotel provided a very comfortable stay after a long day of flying. The rooms had nice amenities like a rain shower with a heated towel rail, a comfy bed, and a great restaurant offering delicious dinner and buffet breakfast. However, the room temperature was a little too warm for sleeping.
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel with its stunning views of Mont Blanc and the Chamonix village. The rooms were beautifully decorated, spacious, and offered a perfect view of the mountain range. The service was attentive and quick to address any needs. The location was ideal for exploring the town, though the lack of atmosphere for children was a downside. The dining experience was top-notch with a variety of delicious options. Overall, a great value for money with fantastic amenities and facilities.
The hotel offered a warm and cozy stay with some room for improvement. The rooms were comfortable but needed better cleanliness measures and control over the temperature. The service was fast and friendly, although there were some limitations on the overall experience. The location was convenient and central, providing easy access to shopping areas. The dining experience, while good, left room for enhancement with pricing considerations.
The hotel offers incredible views of Mont Blanc and the surrounding mountains from its clean and recently refurbished rooms, although they are quite small and check-in is late in the afternoon. The service was professional but lacked help when needed, such as with the shuttle service. The outstanding location in the heart of Chamonix provides easy access to shops, restaurants, and attractions, with mesmerizing views of Mont Blanc from the rooms. The dining options, while good, were pricey. Overall, a mixed experience with great views and location but some service issues and high dining costs.
The hotel offers a good room facing Mont Blanc, but it's a bit tired and in need of refurbishment. The service was friendly but seemed rushed at times. The location is great by the river and town, although it needs refurbishment. The dining experience was okay, but not exceptional. Overall, decent value for the price paid.
I was pleasantly surprised by my stay at the hotel. The rooms were very large and had a fantastic view on the 5th Floor facing Mont Blanc, although they were pretty small and dark overall. The service was exceptional with everyone from reception to the chamber maids being very helpful. The location was superb, right in the town with easy access to cafes and restaurants. The dining experience was excellent with a wide choice of dishes available. The facilities met my expectations overall.
The hotel had a superb location right next to the river, with a modern and comfortable bedroom. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, making the stay very pleasant. However, the room was smaller than expected and needed a thorough cleaning and renovation. The hotel also canceled a large group booking, which was disappointing.
